This is a song I wrote about the start of a romance, about taking chances.
I've always thought it strange how confusing love can be when its something we're all searching for. I wanted to write a song about a love that never was, because we played too many games at the start.
lyrics
Just when you think I've changed my mind
That's when I'll be at your door
And when I think you'll never call
You call me fifteen times or more
You're teaching me ballet, you keep on my toes
Teach me how the next step goes
Share your love with me
And we'll build it up with cards and memories
Share your love with me
And we'll share the blame when it all falls at our feet
You always say that in my sleep
I don't like sharing the covers
But it hurts like hell when I realise
You don't mind sharing with others
You're teaching me ballet, you keep on my toes
Teach me how the next step goes
Share your love with me
And we'll build it up with cards and memories
Share your love with me
And we'll share the blame when it all falls at our feet
We share all of the crazy but none of the pain
And when I'm acting crazy, that's when you're acting sane.
You're teaching me ballet, you keep on my toes
Teach me how the next step goes
Share your love with me
And we'll build it up with cards and memories
Share your love with me
And we'll share the blame when it all falls at our feet
Share your love with me
And we'll build it up with cards and memories
Share your love with me
And we'll share the blame when it all falls at our feet
